Dark Clover is releasing a four part compilation curated by and with tracks from artists in the Origami Sound collective. Twenty beats-oriented gems are split in four volumes that will be coming out within the first half of 2012. This is merely a droplet of outstanding music from Origami Sound's brewery that currently houses tons of forthcoming projects.
The fourth and last issue rounds the 20-tracks bundle off with both newcomers and what should by now be familiar names. Ryan Hemsworth opens up with his rendition of the youtube classic "Benny Lava" which is bound to shock and entertain any live audience. Denmark-based Hebris and Zack Christ are both delivering impactful pieces, the first making a debut that shouldn't go unnoticed for the fans of Shlohmo or Shigeto while the latter only confirms his spot among the bigger names after a well-rounded first EP that came out last year on Moodgadget.
Hailing from Germany, dfaultuzer premieres "Thiscoldheart" in light of his debut album "Untimely" that he'll be releasing with UK-based Fent Plates Records. Last but not least the man you're most probably already familiar with closes off the series - Volor Flex's "Bigotry" has been kept off both his albums as there was no better context for it to come out than as the closer to this series.
